TL;DR: Blueberry Media is a LinkedIn personal branding agency that works remotely with Cambridge founders and directors. More than 4,000 companies and 100,000 employees sit in the 150-plus business clusters within 20 miles of the city centre (Cambridge Ahead, 2025). We turn a fortnightly 45-minute conversation into three to four LinkedIn posts a week.

Science-led growth, and the LinkedIn gap inside it
Cambridge's growth in 2026 is showing up in land deals and masterplans. In February, Cambridgeshire County Council agreed a partnership with Prologis to bring forward 67 acres for the next phases of Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and the council's stated ambition is to double the campus. The early-stage proposals include up to 2.4 million sq ft of new life sciences space and up to £3bn of private investment over 20 years. In May, Cambridge Science Park, founded by Trinity College, submitted a masterplan to grow from 2.8 million to around 8 million sq ft, with around 20,000 additional jobs in life sciences, technology and clean energy over about 30 years. The same month, AVEVA announced around £30m of investment in its global headquarters and research centre at 101 Cambridge Science Park, bringing more than 500 roles together ahead of a 2027 opening.
Research by Cambridge Ahead and the University of Cambridge's Centre for Business Research counts more than 150 business clusters within 20 miles of the city centre, home to over 4,000 companies and 100,000 employees (October 2025). Cambridge also recorded 281 equity deals between 2020 and 2024, the highest of any UK location outside London (Cambridge Economic Overview, 2026).
That concentration creates a communication challenge. Many founders in the cluster come from scientific or engineering backgrounds, while the people deciding on a funding round, a partnership or a first commercial hire may not share that training. Investors, partners and candidates often look a founder up before a first meeting, and a LinkedIn profile that explains the work in plain language gives them something clear to find. Our guide to personal branding for founders covers how that early research shapes who gets the meeting.
Blueberry Media is based in Hungerford, Berkshire, around 117 miles from Cambridge by road. We work with Cambridge-based founders and directors entirely remotely, the same way we work with clients across the UK.
Cambridge by district: where the buyers actually are
Cambridge's science economy is spread across a handful of sites around the city, and each attracts a different kind of company. Where a founder or director is based usually says a lot about who they need to convince.
| District | Dominant sector | Why it matters for LinkedIn |
|---|---|---|
| Cambridge Biomedical Campus | Pharma, biotech, clinical research | AstraZeneca's global headquarters is here, and more than 22,000 people work on the campus (Cambridge Ahead, 2025). Founders on the campus often speak to partners and investors who read clinical detail closely, so precise, accurate posts tend to earn more trust than broad claims. |
| Cambridge Science Park and North Cambridge | Deep tech, software, clean energy | Founded by Trinity College in 1970 and employing over 7,000 people. Spin-outs and scale-ups here compete for the same hires and investors, and a visible founder can help a smaller company get noticed. |
| Station Road and the CB1 area | Big-tech research offices | NVIDIA, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft are among the big-tech names around Station Road (Cambridge Ahead, 2026). Their engineers and research leads can be the partners or hires a Cambridge founder wants to reach. |
| Peterhouse Technology Park and Fulbourn Road | Semiconductors and chip design | Arm's global headquarters is at Peterhouse Technology Park, off Fulbourn Road. Semiconductor and hardware sales tend to involve long, engineering-led buying cycles, so steady visibility can keep a founder in view while a decision takes shape. |
Who we work with in Cambridge
This service suits technical founders: scientists running university spin-outs, engineers who became chief executives, and the advisers who serve the cluster's life sciences and deep-tech companies. They know their subject in depth, and the help they need is explaining it on LinkedIn so that an investor, a pharma partner or a prospective commercial hire can follow it in a couple of minutes, with the science intact. In our fortnightly conversations you talk through the work as you would to a colleague, and we ghostwrite the posts in your voice, in plain English, true to what you said.
How the service works
Every engagement starts with a 45-minute recorded conversation every two weeks. We send you a set of questions in advance. You talk naturally about your market, your experience, and your current thinking. From that conversation, we build three to four LinkedIn posts per week that reflect your voice accurately, because the material comes directly from you.
Every package includes profile optimisation, a content strategy built around your commercial goals, and a monthly performance report covering impressions, profile views, connection growth, and inbound signals. Higher-tier packages add newsletter writing, outreach management, and short-form video production from your recorded conversation.
The service is delivered entirely remotely. You do not need to travel to a meeting or adjust your schedule beyond the fortnightly recording call. See our LinkedIn personal branding service for the full breakdown.

Frequently asked questions
Last updated
Does Blueberry Media have an office in Cambridge? +
No. Blueberry Media is based in Hungerford, Berkshire, around 117 miles from Cambridge by road, and works with Cambridge-based founders and directors entirely remotely, as we do with clients across the UK. The fortnightly conversation is a recorded call, so there is nothing to attend in person.
Why would a Cambridge-based founder use a remote LinkedIn agency? +
The work behind LinkedIn personal branding is understanding your voice, your sector and your buyers well enough to write as you would. That happens over a recorded conversation and written briefs, so it works the same from Cambridge as from anywhere else.
Which sectors in Cambridge does Blueberry Media work with? +
We focus on founders and directors in life sciences, biotech and deep tech, and on the consultancies and advisers that serve them, from Cambridge Biomedical Campus in the south to Cambridge Science Park in the north.
How much does LinkedIn personal branding support cost for a Cambridge-based founder? +
Pricing depends on scope, from ongoing content retainers to one-off strategy work, and is the same wherever you are based. Get in touch with a sense of what you need and we'll give you a straight answer.
Is there a long-term contract? +
Not long term. We start with an initial 90-day sprint, then move to monthly rolling with 30 days notice, with no setup fees and no exit penalties. See how the process works.
